Thats me...circa 1982. 

30 + years later, I still really connect with being a kid: how the world looks from 3 feet above the ground; when it can seem as if one moment is going to last forever; the giggles that get caught up in your your chest when you are laughing so hard about... nothing or... everything. Kids are honest, they are real. I try to capture the emotion, movement and realness of being young because I can still remember what it was like for me.

My STyle

What I love best is when “kids are just being kids.” I love children - I love to talk to them and engage with them so they feel comfortable doing what they do best - being themselves. I also am generally a people person and love getting to know people. My goal is to capture moments of your family and children so everyone feels at ease. I love light and composition and color. My BACKGROUND

Even way back then, when I was rocking that sweet mini-mullet, I was always drawing or creating in some way or another. I have a background in fine arts and eventually went into design (art, design and creative direction). Through my work, I found myself drawn to clean and minimalist design with pops of color and interesting composition.

I had been shooting since 2007, but only really fell in love with photography when my daughter Autumn was born - photography allowed me to not only draw on both my art and design background, but I was also able to rediscover the world much in the same way I looked at it when I was little - with honesty, wonder, and color.
